One of L.A.’s longest-running free open house events for arts and culture exploration in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA), Grand Ave Arts: All Access is a free community event inviting Angelenos to choose their own arts adventure as they stroll along DTLA’s cultural corridor and enjoy performances, workshops and activities offered by 14 of L.A.’s iconic cultural institutions.

LA Commons and Dance Resource Center Presents Procession: Community Movement Through Time and Place, in partnership with The Music Center
Art Exhibition: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ribbon Art Activity: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Communal Procession and Dance Party: 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.
Experience a celebration in Los Angeles with an outdoor exhibition at The Music Center, featuring vibrant artwork by L.A.-based artists paired with a dance performance by Tropicaleiza. Participants are also invited to a free ribbon wand-making activity, a community procession and dance party.

Festival Trail Presents: Community Resiliency Hub
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Experience the first prototype of a community hub showcasing a new vision for public life, connectivity and cultural celebration in L.A. during the LA28 Olympics and Paralympic Games and beyond. Visitors can walk underneath a new shade structure, take part in a tree giveaway and explore the vision of Festival Trail through augmented reality.

Panel Discussion: Remixing Los Angeles

Panel Discussion: Remixing Los Angeles moderated by Frances Anderton, featuring Los Angeles Councilmember Nithya Raman, Festival Trail Co-Founder Christopher Torres and more civic leaders, as they imagine how to create an inclusive and catalytic Olympic legacy for all.

The Music Center Presents Black Planetarium: Uncharted Anthologies

Step into a constellation of textiles, sound, movement and virtual reality with Black Planetarium, a new work by Ethiopian American artist Kidus Hailesilassie. Rooted in Pan-African traditions, this immersive installation transforms the Digital Arts Space at The Music Center into a place of memory, imagination and connection.

Gloria Molina Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos

Join with the community for the vibrant opening of Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Downtown Día de Los Muertos. Experience a day filled with cultural performances, community spirit and a sacred processional beginning at Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center.
The Music Center Tours
During Grand Ave Arts: All Access, take a free guided tour of The Music Center’s iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion led by a Music Center docent.
Look for the tour sign-up table inside the Walt Disney Concert Hall lobby or outside at the entrance of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
