To mark the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, the Korean American DoSan Memorial Association is launching the 55‑piece DoSan Symphony Orchestra with its inaugural concert. The event pairs the orchestra’s debut with the musical “DoSan,” honoring independence leader Ahn Chang‑ho. Rising Maestro Ryan Changhan Jeon conducts. Tenor Choi Won‑hyun reprises the role of Ahn, while baritone Kim Kyung‑tae plays Ito Hirobumi. The program features arias like “DoSan Will Stand Tall!” and “Land of Peace,” plus choral numbers including “Patriotic March” and “Nationwide Anthem.” The finale invites the audience to sing “Spring in My Hometown” and “Longing for Mount Geumgang,” followed by a vision video for a DoSan Memorial Hall.
