Center Dance Arts strives to inspire and engage dance enthusiasts and audiences encompassing the breadth of culture and community in Los Angeles, to elevate and advance our county as a vibrant hub of high-quality international, national and local dance.

Center Dance Arts Mission

Through its membership, Center Dance Arts supports The Music Center’s programming of world-renowned dance, educational programs and community-access dance events; while also providing platforms and visibility for exceptional Los Angeles-based dance. We offer engaging events, dance lectures and discussions, and community outreach so all may experience the transformative power of dance.

A Letter From the President

A very warm welcome to each and every one of you. As Center Dance Arts begins its 25^th anniversary year, it is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that I serve as President, and I am honored to lead such an esteemed group of supporters. 

Whether you are a regular on our website and in our theaters or love dance and are exploring how to get involved, you’ve come to the right place! This will be an exciting and notable year for Dance at The Music Center; as we reflect on where we’ve been and what’s to come this season with such an exhilarating and diverse repertoire, and with what the future holds for dance enthusiasts like yourselves. 

I have loved dance as far back as I can remember and have always made sure that dance is a part of my life whether it’s watching great dance, finding ways to dance and learn or supporting dance education for kids that wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to experience and learn an art form as consequential to their lives. 

For me, Center Dance Art has provided everything that I hold dear, it is more than just a place to support and learn about dance, it is a vibrant community where individuals of all backgrounds and abilities come together to celebrate their love for this art form. Here, you will have the chance to connect with other dance enthusiasts, share your passion for dance, make new friends and help bring dance to life in Los Angeles.

I encourage you to join us if you have not already done so; there is a wide range of dance experiences and performances waiting for you. We have something for everyone at Center Dance Arts and we look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you.
