Held at The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, the Symposium will guide educators in developing skills and strategies centering on sparking joy and creating agency within their teaching practice and connecting with one another through the arts. The Symposium will offer workshops focused on Social Emotional Learning, Well-being, Equity, Cultural Responsiveness, and more. All workshops will be in alignment with the CA Arts Standards and CA Content Standards.
This year's symposium will feature work by two national partners: the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and Brooklyn Museum. The Music Center teaching artists and guest presenters will provide educators with a range of arts integration techniques that can be implemented in the classroom setting.

TMC Arts
When we speak of our vision to deepen the cultural lives of all Angelenos, we turn to the work of TMC Arts. This team champions the diverse voices and communities of Los Angeles, fostering connection, creativity and enrichment. TMC Arts programs connect people, offering us the chance to get creative and to learn as we discover something new or enjoy something familiar. Many programs are free and low-cost; they take place outdoors on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center and in Grand Park, inside The Music Center's theatres and in schools and neighborhoods all across L.A. County.
