In stage performances, musicals and concerts, Ms. Bailey has performed locally and nationwide, from Carnegie Hall to the Wilshire Ebell, She has served as Director for children, youth and adult choirs at various churches in Southern California. For over 25 years she has taught music in numerous elementary schools, creating programs that encourage her students to want to learn as much as they can about music. She has taught violin, voice, percussion, choir, recorder, piano and ukulele, as well as composed original music for spring and winter performances.

Kathryn has a passion for educating children and sharing the power of music with them! Kathryn teaches from a pedagogical approach. Music is a language unto itself that can be learned in the same way we learn speech, through listening and imitation. This successful method demystifies the artform from appearing too complex She has students dive right in from the first lesson through singing, body percussion, scatting and even dancing. At the end of each series there is a recital.
