TAIKOPROJECT is a professional taiko drumming ensemble based in the historic Little Tokyo district of downtown Los Angeles. The ensemble has been touring nationally since 2003 and is an award-winning nonprofit organization that also maintains a school for youth and adults with over 100 students.
Los Angeles-based Blue13 Dance Company has been performing theatrical modern dance for over 20 years. Inspired by classical and cultural art forms of the Indian subcontinent, the company's mission is to create a shift in the perception and practice of American dance through performance, community activations and education. Blue13 offers accessible educational programming in Title-1 schools and is committed to increasing cultural knowledge and amplifying representation, equity and diversity in the dance field.
