About The Performers

Since 1985, The Opera Company at LACHSA (formerly known as Full Circle Opera Project founded by Stephanie Vlahos) strives to prepare its students for university/conservatory acceptance or entrance to the professional stage, in an atmosphere of academic and artistic integrity that nurtures creativity and professionalism. Known for innovative and non-traditional productions, The Opera Company at LACHSA is the ONLY high school opera company in the nation that performs their season with a full orchestra. Operas are performed in English, performing works that are strong social justice pieces in nature.
